What to expect

I meet with you on an individual basis for around 53 minutes. During our first session, I will complete my mental health assessment by asking you background information: where you grew up, what your home life was like, and what major life experiences have shaped you. We will also collaborate on a treatment plan that caters to your needs and goals.

The following sessions will be less structured. Clients oftentimes arrive with a topic, or something they’ve noticed from the past week that they would like to address. If you don’t have anything, don’t fret! It is my job to guide the session. We will build emotional regulation skills, practice mindfulness activities, and return to your goals as a framework. Fidget toys, kinetic sand, and art supplies are available for my more tactile clients. In terms of my style, I try to meet you where you are at on any given day, while also pushing you to work towards your treatment goals.
